2739 REVIEW DENIED Under the Elder Abuse Act, nurses, doctors, hospitals, and Emergency Medical Technicians are absolutely immune from liability for reporting suspected elder abuse or taking steps to make the suspected victim of such abuse available for treatment, even though those reporting lacked personal knowledge but had formed suspicions based on reports from persons with such knowledge.
