3178 REVIEW DENIED If a federal court has supplemental jurisdiction over a state claim, the California statute of limitations is tolled while the claim is pending in federal court and for 30 days after it is dismissed, and at the end of that period plaintiff still has the amount of time that existed under the state statute when the federal action was instituted.
