3326 REVIEW DENIED A defendant’s attempts to improve its product did not constitute a manufacturing standard deviation from which made the product defective in manufacture; if a defendant intended that products it marketed come from various sources and vary in characteristics, the fact that one of those products had characteristics different from others in the same line did not establish a manufacturing defect.
