3377 A legislative amendment removing statutory immunity from products liability for the sale of tobacco products bars actions however labeled based on the sale of pure and unadulterated tobacco products during the ten year period the immunity was in effect, but does not apply to actions based on conduct that occurred outside the period, or to the sale during the period of tobacco products with additives that increased the inherent risks of smoking.
