P0180 New applicants for peace officer positions can not be required to waive provisions of the Public Safety Officers Procedural Bill of Rights Act that give them a right to examine records of investigations of pre-employment conduct, but such a requirement validly may be imposed on officers transferring from one department to another so long as the waiver is limited to investigation of matters that arose prior to employment and expires after one year.
