3473 A lending institution that finances a vehicle lease but is not an agent of the automobile dealer in the lease transaction is not liable under the Consumer Legal Remedies Act or under any other the federal or state law for misrepresentations in a lease agreement that were unknown to the lending institution and not apparent on the face of the leasing agreement.
