3530 REVIEW DENIED A police officer who sexually molested his minor stepdaughter over a period of years, sometimes in his patrol car while he was on duty, and who threatened to use his authority as an officer to prevent her from complaining about his behavior was not acting in the scope of employment, and vicarious liability on a respondeat superior theory could not be imposed on the agency that employed him.
