3594 REVIEW DENIED Product liability actions for defective general aircraft or their components are subject to a federal 18-year statute of repose, unless during the statutory period the defendant knowingly misrepresented, concealed, or withheld from the Federal Aviation Administration material information relevant to the performance, maintenance, or operation of the aircraft or component, including incidents of military accidents involving the same component.
