3652 REVIEW DENIED The 18 year federal statute of repose begins running on products liability actions based on defects in an aircraft or its parts when the aircraft is first delivered to the first purchaser, and the subsequent addition of a few new components to the fuel system does not restart its running; however, the statute begins to run on an a products liability action based on defects in the new components when they are installed.
