3787 Although a nursing home admitting a patient may owe relatives of the patient no duty to provide information regarding the operation of the facility, if it does provide information, it has a duty to do so accurately; allegations that a nursing home did not properly protect an Alzheimer's patient from attack by a non-Alzheimer's patient, coupled with declarations by staff doctors at the home that the attacker had been showing signs of hostility and threatening to kill anyone who got in her way, raised questions of fact about whether the nursing home's conduct rose to the level of recklessness required for liability under the Elder Abuse Act.
