p0547 REVIEW DENIED Under the Unclaimed Property Law the state controller is immune from liability in an action by the owner of escheated property based on the allegation that it was sold for less than it was worth; on any cause of action for which the controller is not immune, compliance with the Government Claims Act (i.e., Tort Claims Act) is required.
