4018 REVIEW GRANTED The single publication rule, which starts the statute of limitations for defamation running on the first publication of a newspaper, book, magazine, or broadcast, does not apply to a volume of oral history of which there were only ten copies contained in only three libraries and not available on the internet; the delayed discovery rule applied to a defamation action brought on the basis of statements contained in the oral history because the factual basis for the suit was so hidden from public view that reasonable diligence would not have led to its discovery within the statutory period.
