4028 REVIEW DENIED When adequate bases exist for an estoppel argument, Code of Civil Procedure section 340.9, which resurrects insurance claims arising from the Northridge Earthquake and gives insureds an additional oneyear period from January 1 through December 31, 2001 in which to file a claim or commence an action on the policy, does not prevent quake victims from contending an insurer is estopped from raising a statute of limitations defense.
