P0920 A provision in California's Ethical Standards for Neutral Arbitrators requiring that an arbitration award be vacated if the arbitrator failed to disclose the intent to entertain employment offers to act as lawyer, expert witness, or a consultant for any party or attorney in the pending arbitration is not pre-empted by the Federal Arbitration Act; untimeliness in seeking to vacate the award does not waive objection to the arbitrator's material omission in disclosure.
