P1298 An agreement providing that arbitration "shall be the exclusive dispute resolution process in the State of Texas, but shall be a nonexclusive process elsewhere" was interpreted to mean that outside of Texas the parties can submit to other forms of alternate dispute resolution, like mediation and conciliation, but it does not authorize litigation in California.
